Log into SIS. 1) Click on Main Menu tab. 2) Click on Financial Aid or click on the Financial Aid Menu tab. 3) Select Award Package by Aid Year 4) select the desired Aid Year 5) click Submit.

After accepting federal direct loans (Subsidized and/or Unsubsidized) for the first time, there are two requirements to complete: 

1) Master Promissory Note (MPN)

2) Entrance Counseling.

If “Estimated NYS TAP Award” is listed on your financial aid offer and you did not submit an application at the time of filing FAFSA, apply for TAP now. RPI's NY state undergraduate school code is 0635.

You may be selected for the verification process, or there may be forms to review or submit.

Log into SIS. 1) Click on Main Menu tab. 2) Click on Financial Aid or click on the Financial Aid Menu tab. 3) Select Eligibility & Requirements 4) select the desired Aid Year 5) click Submit.

Please use our Document Upload if you are asked to submit documents to the Office of Financial Aid. If you are unsure as to what action to take, please contact us.

Report any additional funds from external sources to the Office of Financial Aid using the Outside Scholarship Report form. 

Per federal regulations, outside aid must be considered when determining eligibility for federal aid, which may result in adjustments to your institutional gift awards.

If your aid package includes an offer of Federal Work Study (FWS), you must accept or decline the offer.

Log into SIS. 1) Click on Main Menu tab. 2) Click on Financial Aid or click on the Financial Aid Menu tab. 3) Select Award Package by Aid Year 4) select the desired Aid Year 5) click Submit.

Additionally, you'll need to complete our Work Study Application. This should be uploaded to the Office of Financial Aid when completed. 

If you do not accept the offer AND do not submit a Work-Study application you cannot be considered for FWS employment.
