Eligibility and Renewal Policies

Students are eligible for up to eight semesters of full-time undergraduate awards. School of Architecture students are eligible for up to ten semesters.
Merit-Based Awards: Award amounts remain fixed throughout enrollment, except as specified in the Conditions for Financial Aid Award Adjustments.
Need-Based Awards: Renewal requires the annual submission of the FAFSA to demonstrate continued financial need.
Federal and State Grants: Eligibility for grants like the Federal Pell Grant and New York State’s TAP grant depends on FAFSA outcomes each year.
