- Students are eligible for up to eight semesters of full-time undergraduate awards. School of Architecture students are eligible for up to ten semesters.
- Merit-Based Awards: Award amounts remain fixed throughout enrollment, except as specified in the Conditions for Financial Aid Award Adjustments.
- Need-Based Awards: Renewal requires the annual submission of the FAFSA to demonstrate continued financial need.
- Federal and State Grants: Eligibility for grants like the Federal Pell Grant and New York State’s TAP grant depends on FAFSA outcomes each year.
- Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP): Students must be in Good Standing or Probation status based on Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) rules for renewal of Federal awards and Good Standing with NY State SAP for renewal of NY State awards.
